Dean is the type of person that likes to keep his emotions in check. He's the macho tough guy that doesn't like to be seen crying. He'd rather make snide and sarcastic comments when asked a personal question and quickly change the subject. When it comes to love, Dean rarely falls into it, but when he does, he has a hard time expressing his feelings. Dean is very over protective of his little brother and would do anything for him. He's the same way about anyone he really cares about, but don't ever ask him to admit it. He's a ladies man, so look out girls, he likes to woo them and leaves a trail of broken hearts along with those ghosted badies.

OVERALL HISTORY:
Dean was born to Mary and John Winchester in Lawrence Kansas. He is the older brother to Samuel Winchester. The grandson of Samuel Winchester as well. From a young age Dean was taught to fight and kill anything supernatural. It all started when Sammy was 6 months old. Mary had gotten up to go check on her infant son. She saw what she thought was her husband standing over the crib, before going downstairs, only to discover that he had fallen asleep on the chair. She immediately rushed upstairs and found the figure still over Sam. John awoke to the sounds of her screams and came into the room to find her pinned to the ceiling, where she eventually burned setting the nursery on fire. John handed baby Sam to Dean and told him to get out of the house.
That started the whole charade. John Winchester became obsessed with finding the thing that had killed his wife. He taught Dean and Sam how to hunt, and not animals, but creatures most people don't know exist.
Dean looked up to his father, did everything that he had asked him to do and never said no. He watched his younger brother often while his dad would be away on hunts. They traveled from city to city and wouldn't stay in a school longer then a couple of weeks at a time. Dean then learned how to guard his heart and not become too attached to anyone.
After high school Dean took up his father's job in the 'family busines' hunting things, and saving people's lives. He was torn however when his brother Sam decided to go to college to become a lawyer. He didn't admit it but he had missed his younger brother, and decided to go on hunting on his with just him and his dad. However, John left to go on a hunting trip and didn't return. He stopped calling, and answering his phone and Dean grew worried.
Finding Sam in his apartment one night Dean talked his younger brother into coming with him to find their father. They spent the weekend looking for him and when they couldn't find anything but several lose ends and restless spirits, Sam went back home. However when he got there he found his girlfriend Jessica in the same predicament as his mother. Sam then took up his father's role in the vengeful lover and finally followed Dean on an adventure that would change both of their lives.
After battling an ever increasing amount of demons Dean and Sam learned that the reason behind their growing numbers was the nearing of the apocalypse. They eventually learned that they were to be the vessels of Michael and Lucifer. When Dean made a deal with a demon he ran around for the entire year trying to find a way to get out of it. However plans foiled, Dean was sent to hell for what seemed like a year to him.
Dean returned from hell, and met the angel who brought him back, Castiel. They later became close friends and Castiel became a somewhat guardian angel of sorts for the Winchester brothers. Then it was Sam's turn to go to hell. He said yes to Lucifer when their brother Adam said yes to Michael, the two fought and Sam eventually won and pulled Michael into the cage in hell. Sam was later brought out, but without his soul and roamed freely, soulless for an entire year while Dean, went to stay with his old friend Lisa and her son Ben. However things didn't work out between Dean and Lisa and he was forced to go back into his hunting duties.

ROLE PLAY EXAMPLE:
The sound of banging filled the air. He was bored, and becoming impatient. The loud rock and roll music played in the background as Dean's head twisted to look behind him. He wondered what was taking his brother so long.
"Come on Sammy, I'm getting hungry." Dean said to himself as he checked his watch for the 50th time.
"When aren't you hungry Dean." asked a voice from the back seat.
"Cas you son of a bitch, you need to stop sneaking up on me like that." Dean said looking in his rear view mirror.
"I'm sorry." Cas said in his flat emotionless voice. "I needed to tell you something, but it looks like it has to wait. Sam can't know about it." he said before disappearing once more.
"Damn it I hate it when he does that." Dean said as Sam finally made his way back to the car with their food. "It's about damn time I'm starving. Where's my frigging food?" he asked his brother.
